We want your Awards of Excellence submission to be the best that it can be! Before you hit “submit” on your award entry, please make sure you …

Review your contact information carefully.
Check your email address and phone number for typos, and make sure all contact fields are completed. If you’re not the best person to contact if we have questions about your submittal, make sure you enter the name and contact information for the person you want us to call.
Enter your company name exactly how you want it printed on the award, should you win.
You can enter the legal name of the company or a shortened version, but please make sure that however it’s written in your application is what you want to appear on the award.
Enter a concise project name.
There is a limited amount of space on the award; please limit the project or program name to 8 words. (The organization’s name will be printed below project name; you do not need to include that in your project name.)
Include a discussion of the timeline of the program or project you are submitting for an award.
It should be very clear to the judges that your project was built during the time frame included in the instructions and meets eligibility requirements. If it is not, your project could be disqualified in error.
Include the most important details of your project or program without repeating information.
We want to know about the elements of your project or program that make it worthy of an award. What were the benefits of the project? How did it improve upon existing structures or programs? How did it affect the community? Each required section asks for different information, but each section should be connected to the other; tie them together. Try not to repeat information; each section has a word limit. Make every word count!
Receive the approval of the owner of the project you are submitting for an award.
Award-winning projects and programs are featured in Parking & Mobility magazine and on our social media channels. To avoid objections once we start writing, it is imperative that all project participants, particularly the project owner, has given you approval to submit the project for an award. For example, if you are a design firm and you are submitting a municipal parking structure for the Architectural Design category, you must have the approval of the municipality before submitting the award.
Add at least 10 images that are under 1MB each.
Each entry must include your organization’s logo, the logos of any additional team members, and at least 10 images of your project or program. Under-construction photos, finished project images, plans, or renderings are permitted, but you must have permission from the photographer or document creator and you must list the photo credit. For entries in the Innovation or Marketing & Communications categories, flyers, posters, or photographs of an associated event, if applicable, are permitted.
Pay for your entry at the time of submission -- or at least before November 1, 2023!
Entries that are not paid for will not be judged.
