We want your Professional Recognition Award submission to be the best that it can be! Before you hit “submit” on your award entry, please make sure you …

Review your contact information carefully.
Check your email address and phone number for typos, and make sure all contact fields are completed. If you’re not the best person to contact if we have questions about your submittal, make sure you enter the name and contact information for the person you want us to call.
Enter your company name exactly how you want it printed on the award, should you win.
You can enter the legal name of the company or a shortened version, but please make sure that however it’s written in your application is what you want to appear on the award. If you’re nominating a person for an award, please add any degrees or certifications that they have earned, such as CAPP, Ph.D., P.E., or similar.
Have confirmed that the nominee is a member of IPMI.
Professional Recognition Awards recipients must be members of IPMI. Please check that the organization you are nominating is a member. For nominations of people, for Professional Excellence Awards, the Emerging Leader of the Year, or the James M. Hunnicutt CAPP Industry Professional of the Year, please confirm that the person works for a member organization.
Tell us about the person, not just their accomplishments.
We want a complete picture of the nominee. What makes the person you are nominating so great? What qualities do they have that make them worthy for the award? How would you describe them to a friend?
Have only nominated one person per award entry.
Joint submittals – i.e., nominating 2 people from one company for one award (to be given jointly) – are not permitted. We also do not recommend that you submit nominations for multiple people from the same organization for the same award; if you do, know that these people will be competing against each other.
